Ayden joined Central in 2025 as Director of Technical Ministries. He served for three years at Parksville Fellowship Baptist Church, then attended the Kaleo Leadership program before moving to Kelowna, where he earned a certificate in Audio Engineering and Music Production at Okanagan College. Ayden sees technical ministry as a way to remove distractions so people can encounter God in worship. He leads, schedules, and trains Central’s tech team volunteers, helping them grow in their gifts, and oversees the sound, lighting, slides, and live stream for Sunday services and special events. He also edits the weekly sermon podcast and looks after the church’s IT. In his spare time, you’ll find him mountain biking, hiking, flying FPV drones, listening to vinyl on his stereo, or playing Disco Dodgeball. Fun fact: he finished the 18 Wheeler Burger, a secret menu item at Big Wheel Burger, in 4 minutes and 32 seconds.
