Opportunities to Serve

Serving is one of the ways we grow in our relationship with Jesus and care for one another. Whether you enjoy welcoming people, working behind the scenes, caring for children, using technical skills, or helping at special events, there are many ways to get involved at Central.

Our ministries are always looking for volunteers with a wide range of interests, skills, and experience. Whether you can serve every week or just a few times a year, there's a place for you.

To learn more about our ministries and current volunteer opportunities, visit the Ministries section of our website or contact the church office.

Special Events

Throughout the year, we host events that bring our church family and community together. These events rely on volunteers to help with everything from set-up and clean-up to greeting guests, preparing food, leading activities, and providing technical support.

Volunteer opportunities are available for events such as Urban Adventures, the Thanksgiving Banquet, and our Family Christmas Party. Before each event, sign-up sheets will be available at the Information Desk, or you can contact the church office to learn about current volunteer needs.

Building Maintenance

Our church building is used throughout the week, and there is always something that needs attention. If you enjoy practical projects, there are opportunities to help with maintenance, repairs, painting, and other building-related tasks.

Whether you have a trade, enjoy working with your hands, or simply like fixing things, we'd love to hear from you.

Want to volunteer but don't know where to start?

If you're interested in serving but aren't sure where you would fit best, we can help.

One way to get started is by completing a S.H.A.P.E. Assessment, which helps identify your gifts, passions, abilities, and experiences. We can then help you explore volunteer opportunities that are a good fit.

Whether you can serve every week or just a few times a year, there's a place for you at Central.
