Starting July 11, 2021, Central Baptist Church will fully reopen for in-person worship.

Even though we are permitted to fully reopen, we recognize that people have differing levels of comfort with returning to church. We are like people on a beach getting ready to swim. Some want to run and dive in. Others want to slowly wade their way in. Still others want to wait a little longer before putting their toes in the water. It is our aim to move forward together.

In order to make this happen, please note the following:

  • Masks are recommended while inside the building and while singing. You will see staff and volunteers wearing masks during the coming weeks.
  • A modified children’s program for K-6 will be in place for summer. The nursery will also be open.
  •  We will provide one section of seating where the chairs are set up in physically distanced pods and where masks are required. If you would like to sit in this section, please ask the ushers to seat you there.
  • As in everyday life, be respectful of the comfort level of others in terms of physical distance, methods of greeting each other…etc.
  • We will continue to provide the livestream service for those who may not yet be comfortable with returning to the building.
  • Hand sanitizer is available at several locations

We look forward to seeing each of you when you are ready to return!

CHURCH AT HOME (Livestream)

For those who prefer to watch the Livestream at home on Sunday at 10:30 am

On Friday, we'll post the weekly bulletin and the sermon notes for Sunday's message. On Monday, we'll add the video so you can view the service again or catch up if you missed one.

    Bulletin & Sermon Notes

Each week there will be a new kid-friendly service that can be viewed on our Kids Ministry YouTube channel. For kids in Preschool to Grade 6, it will feature activities such as games, a craft, a silly guest character, Bible discussion, and more!
These pre-recorded services are interactive, so parents/guardian will need to prepare a space, a smart device, and game/craft items in advance of their child's viewing experience. The best way to stay informed about our ongoing curriculum, as well as the weekly list of items your child will need, is to contact Tom at children with the subject line "Please subscribe to Kids Church."
