Melissa's Bio

Melissa grew up at Central, participating in, then leading various youth activities. She completed her nursing degree in 1996, spent several years working in Victoria before she felt God 'nudge' her out of her comfort zone. The next almost 7 years were spent in Nova Scotia, working with youth at First Baptist, Dartmouth as well as continuing to work as a pediatric nurse at the IWK Health Centre. She's now made it back to the west coast and is not only again enjoying the almost non-existent winters, but loves coming alongside youth and young adults, to encourage support, challenge and stretch them as they are on this journey.
